*BVSS concert*

went over to town to meet up with sya.
we are going to bedok view concert at
temasek poly.

once sya knock off from work,
we took a train down to BEDOK.
over there,
we decided to get a cab.
OMG lah!
singapore is suffering from a shortage of cab lah!
took us like 20mins just to get a cab.
we were already super late for the concert by then.
to make things worst,
the cab went to the wrong place!
argh.
reached the concert at about 8.30pm.

met up with YVONNE soh.
passed me the tixs.

the CONCERT was ok lah.
nothing special.
=)
there were some parts where they sound REALLY bad,
but overall, it was an OK performance.

after the concert,
took the MRT to jurong MRT.
met up with titus.
then again,
took a bus down to EAST COAST!
lol!
slacked over there.
at about 2am,
i took a cab back home

*AES BAND*

went back to AES to see how the band was doing.
met kelyn, chin yan and razinah
at the school's bus stop @9am.
everyone was roughly on time.
not bad huh?

walked into school.
there was no guard on duty then.

was damned shocked when we reached there lah.
the band has converted back into military way.
they are having physical training as part
of their band practice lo!
wah lao.
we even have a drills instructor from SAF.
MADNESS.

later on, they have to do push ups,
warm up exercises.
then they run rounds in the field. CRAZY.

walked around school with raz, chin and kel.

later on at about 12pm,
kel and chin had to go.
raz and i went out.
i had to go back to SP to collect
my mobile packaging.

took a cab down to sp.
showed raz SPSB room.
later on,
we had lunch in SP.
we ate at KFC.

took a cab back to AES.
met gregory outside.

band were having sectional.
i joined trumpet section for breathing excercise. i just realised,
now, every section has a tutor!
wow!
and most of them are from SAF band.
MADNESS.

later on, they had combine practice. OMG lah.
3/4 are all sec 1!
the band sounds so immature.
as in tone wise.
i helped out in percussion section.
=)
played the chimes and glockenspiel.
=)=)

played "ONE MOMENT IN TIME".

band finally ended at 5pm.
had a few words to the current majors,
conducter and members before leaving school.
wad a long band practice day!
9am to 5pm!

then suddenly
this old woman came.
she went up to the mama shop.
offering the 5 cent coins in her palm
for a simple meal of a plain roti prata.
the man folded her hands gently and said.
"sit down over here"
and he did a meal out of his generosity
he did that with a warm and gentle smile.
i felt sorry.
took my change and hand her $2.
THATS ALL I COULD GIVE.
i got no other cash lo.
damn.
felt sorry for her.

IBM camp

wow.
this past few days have been great.
camp was alright.
damn tired at times.
this batch junior was fun.
except for one

anyways,
picked up O2jam.
haha.
damn funny lah.
oh well.
it 'HELPS' sight reading.

first night didnt sleep.
watched kungFu hussle.
=)
2nd night.
was supposed to watch
pirates of the carribean.
but all of us fell asleep while watching.
lol.

lastly.
wanna congratulate sax section.
lol.
we were damn shocked lah.
didnt expect to win any placing for the section comp.
other section did quite well.
nearly 'died' when lao ban inform our section got 3rd.
he said that.
we were uniformed (sense of togetherness),
a good ensemble tone (shocker),

he also said a few of our mistakes.
the higher register saxes were clashing (out of tune).
oh well.
there were 3 of us playing 1st.
and all the notes are above G.

and lao band also said,
the ending was abit messy.
lolx.
but general picture was good.
