*NEW YEAR EVE*

oh well,
i spend my new year eve this year at work.
surprisingly i had neither club nor countdown
outside.

went to work at 12 pm.
but we only start to arrange the table and
the set up at 1pm.
heh.

we did station by station.

-over table with white able cloth,
-then cover with black cloth,
-use the stripe show plates.
-set 2 sets of fork and knives,
-put calender on top of show plates,
-put 'ringed' napkin on the calender,
-place water goblet and wine glass on the knive side.
-place a sheet of glitter cloth in the middle of table,
-place candles on the cloth.
-slashed glitter bits on the table evently.

the cocktail reception
jun and i settling station F table arrangements. =)

after lunch at 3pm,
saif and i do up the VIP table.
alabasta table.

soon by 5pm,
we were preparing to start operation.
all were dressed up for the event.

hostests for this evening, jaz and i zila and i the indian boys and a girl during briefing the final product of VIP table the "cotton club" band sound check station c,D,F GLITTERATI - theme for NYE auntie ade... wahhaha izma, nice dress.... gulp... =)

THE $250++ menu
6 course meal
free flow of beers, red/white wines,
sparkling wine till 12am.

AMUSE BOUCHE vietnamese styled minched scallops
and crispy prawn roll.

APPETISER lemongrass chilli lobster topped
with mango and coriander.

SOUP vietnamese Duck consomme with young
coconut.

INTERMEZZO pink guava sorbet with jackfruit,
strawberries, aloe vera and basil seed.

MAIN
oven baked bobby veal rack with green
olive crust and lemongrass, accompanied
with pan fried canadian black cod fish
topped with coriander green chili sauce.

DESSERT
fresh blueberries with mango sticky rice
and raspberries compote.

then soon it was 12am!
OMG!
everyone counted down,

then i finally had my break at 12.30am.
everyone busy messaging. =x
my mail was flooded.

anyways,
i got to talk and got invaluable information
from the alto sax guy.
they are the world famous 'COTTON CLUB'
12-piece band!
=)
he teached me the alternate altisimmo fingerings.
lol.

the indochine cat have mutiplied. SO CUTE.

before i left for home,
i manage to take a pic with bishal.
today would be his last day working.
i'm gonna miss him truckloads.

didnt slept much the night before.
i think i finally slept around 7am?

woke up abruptedly
by my stupid alarm.

quickly prepared then left for school.

had some last minute practice.
*evil grins*

can't wait till concert.

had lunch
with yang,betty, april and joanna
at FC 5, PIZZA HUT.
bought so much food!

after that,
i headed home intending to sleep.
but i ended up chating on msn
with jona.

soon by 8pm+++
i met jona at vivo.
planning to buy makeup....
erm... foundation.
so funny lah.

we were look for products
and sale assistance come up to us,
we just shook them off by saying

"oh, we buying a gift for a friend....
who's a girl..."

i dont know wads wrong with me.
guys and makeup cant go together lo.
its so........

ANYWAYS,
managed to psyco jona to accompany me
to PLAY.
we took the 'new' 100...
the one with seatbelts.

we got our chop and then we headed to
chinatown MAC.
late supper =)

met up with colin, jerek,
mel, yongan, aaron, jonathan ngeow,
jon, jeremy, august, zach...
whole list of familiar people.

haha.
they had some show there.
so lame can?

left pretty early..
around 3am?

we decided to bunk in at mel's place.
yongan, jona sleeping in the bus.
hehe.

colin soon arrive later at mel's place.
so the four of us having a 'slumber' party?
and we got our christmas present from mel...

the baby pooh was for me. SO CUTE RIGHT!!

i did get some sleep though.

mel's parents prepared for us
some breakfast before we headed back home.

i got home around 12.30pm.
had a quick bath and headed for swsy
prac.
today,
i was using betty's instrument.
it's so nice can!
most of the notes are in tune!

after band,
i headed home.
was extremely tired....
then some miscommunication happened
and i end up not going to st james
with the rest.
oh well.
i need a well deserve rest too!
=)

went to vivo.

i was downloading some fonts
for the designs.

anyways,
after meeting april and betty
in vivo,
we took 100 to queensway.

once we arrived there
we had lunch.
=)
katong laksa.

it made me remember the days
where caca, an and myself
went there for lunch few years back.
i miss them truckloads.
=(

after lunch,
we went hunting for a few shops
to find the best offer to print our shirts.
really had a fun time with them.

we had a mini lunch in mac before
we headed back to sp.

since we were early,
we bought some drinks and hang out
before band starts.

the harpist came today.
i was so impressed by the instrument;
but NOT by her.
sian.

this is liting. she's the band's pontianak.
she's playing the ghost train solo.
=)

anyways,
kinda disappointed in myself.
i play pretty badly for the
inn of 6th happiness solo. haiz.

after band,
april and i went up to lao ban and ask
him how we could improve on our solo.

he really insprired me.
=)
i really look up to him man!

i really hope i dont screw up on this solo.
=(

ps: though the shirt plan was cancelled,
i still had truck loads of fun with them
around. i'm so gonna miss them when they
graduate.

she's a very quite girl.

this girl is very bubbly.
she's able to work under stress.
jaz and i agreed
that she walked in a wierd manner.

a very friendly girl.
hope to see her back in singapore!

luckily i was working.
she still remember the day when
we first met.
i was the one who orientated her.
then she still remember the question
i asked her...
"bir hen ka pa?"
lol.

at night,
my operation manager came up to me and said,

perfect features and u wanna change it.."
