i end work at
6pm today.

went home and break fast together
with my family.
=)

after breaking fast,
i followed my dad to geylang serai.

gah!
cars were overflowing everywhere.

spent about 2 hours there,
shopping for last minute items before
we headed back.

i bought a capal! =)
it's a traditional slipper.
=)

counting down till raya.
yay.

right after work,
i went over to funan it mall bus stop
(due to road closure, thats
the nearest bus stop for me).

then 61 came and i boarded the bus.
i was talking on the phone with darrell
when i saw a mat
staring at me.
=_=!

then all of a sudden,
he wave and smile at me.

it took me awhile to realised that...

it WAS HONG WEI!
WEI WEI!!!
wehahaha.

omg,
he looked different.
we chated for awhile before
he alighted off.

REMEMBER OUR NUS TRIP OK?!!
make sure we go thre again!

*JOHOR TRIP*

my mom, last uncle and his wife
drove upto johorfor a short
shopping/ pre-hari raya trip.

first stop,
GIANT=_=!
MADNESS, my aunt and her groceries.

second stop,
ANGSANA.break fast and shop
for 'kuih raya' aka tidbits/ small
pastires. =)

soon by 12am,
we headed home.
heee....

*INDOCHINE FESTIVAL (DAY 5)*

ACE OF BASEperforming live at
indochine waterfront; empress place.

their rehearsal in the afternoon. =)

night came and i was assigned
with lucy at restaurant bar.=_=!

can u imagine,
a gourmet coffee bar,served with alcohol spirits,wines,champaigne and juices?wahhaha.

all because,
bar opium is close to public
for vertu and ace of base concert,
most of the bar drink is to be served in
restaurant coffee bar.
ahhaa.

*INDOCHINE FESTIVAL (DAY 4)*

today wasINDOCHINE GALA DINNER.
thats where all our planning
will be going to be executed.
=)

*cross fingers that
everything is gonna be alright*

the settings were almost
completed when we realised
that we are shortage of cutleries.
=_=!

there was a big changed/edit to
our actual plans.
everything nearly went haywired.
=_=!

soon it was 5pm,
we had a final briefing.
LOOK AT THE STAFFS!! so much.
lol.

i was assigned with leny, lucy, ruban and 2 staff from FC
to control indoors.
=)

my own VIP table.*pain in the neck*

soon the party came, and everyone was busy.

time went past very fast.
soon, it was 11pm.

went around indochine
to find shan and felicia.me and the 'partial' samba dancers. =)

as usual,
i tried to take the pics of the
food.
but i was too busy guiding the
new staff from FC.
*gah*

it was a 6-course meal.
i manage to capture 3 of it.

crab and shrimp salad with watercressseared scallop broth beef fillet with prawn stuffed cabbage
and grilled prawns.**

shan and i on our way home...
shan was having blisters. wahahha.

and,
i got 7 scratches from indochine;
from carring table,
papercuts,
spiral metal forks,.
a cut across the hand by
the toilet door. =_=!

this is what happened
when you work 36 hours straight.

*INDOCHINE FESTIVAL (DAY 3)*

nothing much on waterfront side.
business was usual.

did/saw many things for the first time
today.

bought 4D for jega; woo....
saw this purple cabbage. wahhaa.

soon it was 11pm,
sha, azli and myself
went over to 7-11 before resting
along the singapore river; coz soon by 12am,
we are working again.

the guys were outside,
transfering tables,while
jun, leny, shah and myself
were setting indoors. =)

soon by 2am,
half of the staff went home.
only a bunch of us stayed back
to complete most of the settings.

soon, 4.30am came,
shah went home,
azli, adi and i
went over to shah alam for supper. =)
was talking to angel when
my phone went flat.
=_=!

soon by 5.30am,
we walked back to the restaurant.
charged my phone while showering.

by the time i came back,
adi was dead asleep. =_=!

talked to angel for about 30mins.
i had to sleep;
forced myself to sleep. =x

sigh...



cant wait to see shan the next day.

nothing much today.
took care of reservations till 3pm.

the tentage were up in the morning. LUNCH! some of the food being served during the
'asian comptemporary art exhibition"
in bar opium.
YUMMY! =)

oh, today,
i was doing bar.
nothing much to do.
did this OUT OF BOREDOM! =_=!

cant wait to go home!



anyways,
this last few phrases

*SUNDAYS*

i was late for meeting.
i had some issues to settle at home first.

band prac went smoothly.
=)

after band,
shan, bunchin, aldwyn and i went to bugis
for dinner. bun chin and aldwyn shan them. pretty frame iced red milk tea taiwan beef noodle soup almond pudding desserts bun chin's creation, 'white lady' =_=!

after dinner,
we walked around in bugis junction. yeah, bunchin was excited with the 'toys' section. lol.

oh ya. we were distracted
with the adverstisement
showing us how the equipment is being used.
we stood there for more then 30mins,
AMAZED at everything like some.... idiots.
wahahhaha.
=)
it was cute though.

then soon,
we headed home.

THANKS a million huilin for finding
me staffs for INDOCHINE FESTIVAL.
=)

cant wait for the events to end next week.
